Many brides want to incorporate something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue into their weddings.
Brides can make their something blue stand out among their attire or keep it simple and hidden. Here are twenty ways to incorporate blue into a bride’s wedding day.
- Garter. A blue garter is one of the most traditional ways that brides use blue in their wedding days. It won’t be seen during the ceremony, so it is one of the easiest ways to wear something blue if it isn’t one of the wedding colors.
- Jewelry. Brides can wear aquarmarine, turquoise, or sapphire earrings, bracelets, or necklaces if they want their something blue to stand out.
- Flowers. Brides can carry a bouquet of blue flowers down the aisle.
- Ribbon. Wrap the bottom of the bouquet with blue ribbon. If a bride wants to use blue ribbon but doesn’t want to use it on her bouquet, she can take a small piece of blue ribbon and hand sew it to one of the underneath layers of the wedding dress.
