Everyone Needs Therapy
I’ve never met anyone who couldn’t benefit from going to therapy, but I might be a little biased since I’m a therapist. I got my undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in human development and psychology and moved to New York to pursue my Master’s Degree in Social Work which I obtained at NYU. I’ve counseled homeless adults and families with substance abuse and mental health issues, worked in a middle and high school providing individual and group therapy, worked in PINS (Persons in Need of Supervision) in the Bronx with at risk adolescents, and in a mental health outpatient clinic providing individual, group, couple, and family therapy. I love to use my mental health background to help others by writing psychoeducational articles around topics like ADHD, depression, anxiety, and workplace culture.
